The Cross Keys Inn is a small family run hotel, taking pride on a
personal approach to customers. There are 10 ensuite rooms with colour
televisions, hair dryers, tea and coffee making facilities, radio alarms and
direct dial telephones. The bar/dining area seats 22 and boasts darts, skittles
and a pool table. You can choose a reasonably priced home cooked meal from the
extensive blackboard menus.

Frances was the first female primary licensee in the area, although you do get
other lady licensees, they generally acquired the license from their husband or male partner.
This makes her quite unusual. She has been at the Cross Keys since 1979 and is
surely the longest established publican in the area.
