The annual bar-b-q has been an enjoyable and popular event for many years now so we hope to see you all on the Green, Church Walk.
This will follow on from the Village Show. We will light the Bar-b-q at around 4:30, so the food will be available close to 6pm, but refer to your nose for further information on the day!
We will contest the right to hold the Stow Longa Challenge Cup again this year.
There won't be a contest for the Challenge Cup this time because of the show earlier in the day. We can still have games 'Just for fun!' though.
We are catering to provide two pieces of meat per person. There will be a variety of salads and we hope that the cooks of the village will come up with some puddings that will taste so much better than anything we could buy from a shop. We will also serve the fudge cakes that were entered into the Village Show.
Don't forget to bring a table, chairs, glasses and a bottle (or two).
