During our first year Stow Longa Village Community have contributed to the following good causes…..
- £128.41 St. Botolph’s Church, Stow Longa (½ the profit made from the annual village barbecue).
- £128.00 Contribution to the Parish Council towards play equipment for the village play area (the other ½ of
the profit made from the annual village barbecue).
- £25.00 The Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution (one of the benefiting charities of the
Trafalgar Bicentenary Celebration) from the profit made from the Beacon Lighting event.
- £25.00 Seafarers UK (the other benefiting charity of the Trafalgar Bicentenary Celebration) also from the
profit made from the Beacon Lighting event.
- £50.00 East Anglia Air Ambulance from the carol singing evening.
- £48.00 Oxfam, Farm Africa – 2 goats for Africa also from the carol singing evening.

- We would also like to congratulate Jenny Jarvis, who, in addition to delivering the village's milk, took part in the Great North Run and raised over
£1395 for the charity in 2006.
